Five for Friday!

Hi guys!  I'm linking up with Doodle Bugs for Five for Friday {the 13th!}.

 

1.  I'm teaming up with Becca @ Jumping Jax Designs to make the switch to Wordpress.  I just love the new logo she has designed for me!  Watch for the new blog unveiling this month!

 2.  My students had so much fun making this Mayflower book which was a *FREEBIE* by Fancy Fun by Jackie!

3.  We also enjoyed writing persuasive letters to save the turkeys this Thanksgiving!  I am currently updating my Turkey in Disguise unit and this letter template will be part of it when I update it this weekend!

4.  My kids are enjoying my daily Read and Writes.  Each day we read a fluency passage, answer comprehension questions, and respond to a corresponding writing prompt.  We read this week how a turkey was almost the national bird instead of a Bald Eagle.  I had students tell me which bird they would choose for the national bird.  Their responses were adorable!

5.  I'm not a drinker, but this t-shirt seriously made me laugh out loud!  Especially considering my students Whip and Nae Nae ALL.DAY.LONG!!
