It's my Birthday! Ten Pin Linky: Writing Ideas

It's that time again!  This time we're sharing our favorite Writing Ideas...these can be handwriting or writing ideas! Here are mine:

1.  I absolutely love this idea from Totally Terrific in Texas for teaching about Small Moments:

2. This is a classic everyone probably already has pinned...Cara Carroll's Heart Map.  LOVE!!

3.  I love the Teacher Wife's rendition of Cara Carroll's original pencil anchor chart.  And there are even mini versions for students' Writers Notebooks:
UPDATE: Mini "What Do Writers Write?" images for your students' writing workbooks! They go along perfectly with the poster! Check out this post to re-download the document and get your own copy! :)

4.  How cute and fun are these glitter feather pencils for publishing writing?  So simple yet effective!

5.  I am a big fan of Lori Rosenberg.  Not only is she creative and gifted, but she is sweet and humble!  I bought a lot of her writing goodies this summer and I've already set up this Writing Choice board:

6.  Dialogue can be tricky...esp when it comes to mastering where to include quotation marks.  This anchor chart and poem are ADORABLE for helping kids grasp the concept

7.  I also purchased Lori's entire "Writing Right From" series.  LOVE IT!  It will make organizing my writing instruction so much easier:

Now for a few handwriting ideas...
8. This will come in handy when I teach lefties:

9.  Definitely going to make use of this video for my littles who are struggling with b and d reversals:

10.  I was inspired by Maria at Kinder-craze to create a custom stamp through Vistaprint.  So, I've created this Handwriting Hero stamp.  I plan to stamp papers with exceptional handwriting and hope it inspires my kiddos to take their time and write neatly:
