This is my first time linking up with the Five For Friday linky at Doodle Bugs Teaching
So, here goes...
You can view my Snaky Synonyms unit on TPT {HERE}!
You can check out my Leprechaun Traps unit {HERE}!
I had the kiddos bring in (clean) trash for a few days, and then they worked in teams to create 3d shape animals. They had so much fun with this. The yellow slips are where they labeled the shapes (cylinder, rectangular prism, etc.)
You can find the gold coin template {HERE}. The kids wrote/drew about what they would buy if they found the Leprechaun's Pot of Gold. We also did Lindsey's "Who is Worth More than Gold to You" activity, and we added rainbows in the background. You can find Lindsey's template {HERE}!
You can find Cara's adorable Even Steven and Odd Todd activities and ideas {HERE}! We read the books If You Were An Even Number and If You Were an Odd Number. We did an Even Cheer (0-2-4-6-8, Who do we appreciate? Even Numbers, Even Numbers, Yayyyyy Even Numbers!). For odd numbers we made the cuckoo sign and said (1-3-5-7-9!!). Then, the kids did a practice page and everyone made 100, so I called them Oddballs and let them stick a sticker in an odd place and make an odd face. They thought that was hilarious!
What about you? What did you do this week?
Your leprechaun traps look so fun!
ReplyDeleteLooks like your kiddos had a great time making the traps, so creative! We will have to check out the even/odd anchor chart idea! Have a great weekend!
