Off to a great 2013 start!

We’re off to a fabulous start for 2013!  I’m excited about some of my favorite units and themes coming up.  We’ll learn about Martin Luther King this coming week.   

Then, the next week, we’ll work on my “Snow Happy It’s Winter” unit where we’ll learn about snow and Penguins…two of my favorite wintry topics!  I am working these week to add a few more Science activities to the unit, so look for updates soon.

I’m also getting ready to celebrate Valentine’s Day with my kiddos in the next several weeks.  I just finished and uploaded my “Lovin’Literature” unit which is ideal for first and second grades.  It features tons of Common Core skills practice in reading, math, and language while incorporating some of the best Valentine’s books out there.  Go check it out on TPT {HERE}!
