Thanksgiving Freeibes (and a few personal updates)

While you’re at TPT, go check out my Eat More {Ham}! Mini packet.  I have written an original poem in the form of a friendly letter to introduce one of my favorite activities…disguising a turkey so it doesn’t get eaten on Thanksgiving Day!  The packet is only $1.50 and includes the poem/letter, two different turkeys to choose from to disguise, and a certificate to award to all of your students who help save a turkey’s life!  You can view it here:

On a personal note, I’m sorry I’ve continued to be such an absent blogger.  I’ve been helping my parents a lot.  As many of you know, my Dad was diagnosed in June (at the age of 64) with Lewy Body Dementia.  I am thankful to say that he was approved for Social Security Disability in an UNHEARD OF 6 days!!!!  God has been so good and faithful to our family during a very trying time.  Please continue to pray for my  parents!
