Today we had Scarecrow Day!
My sweet hubby came to school and built a life-size scarecrow with Kindergarten and First Grade! The kids had a ball stuffing him with straw.
The giggling blond is my daughter, Morgan! ;)
Is that Mother Goose or a Scarecrow? LOL!
We also made Shape-ly Scarecrows using basic 2-d shapes and an original poem written by moi!
You can snag that FREEBIE by clicking the image below! Please leave feedback! :)
We also read the book The Little Scarecrow Boy by Margaret Wise Brown. I love this story of a little scarecrow who wasn't scary enough to work in the corn fields with his dad.
Then we practiced making our scariest scarecrow faces and will use them to make a class book! Here are our SCARY faces...

Working in pjs is the best! Those "scary" scarecrow faces are ridiculously cute.
