I just added my newest Author Study for author Audrey Wood. Love, love, love this lady's awesome stories and her amazing husband's artwork! This was a fun one to put together. It's 92 pages long and covers 10 of her amazing books:
* Quick as a Cricket
* The Little Mouse, the Red Ripe Strawberry, and the Big Hungry Bear
* A Dob Needs a Bone
* Ten Little Fish
* Ten Little Fish
* Silly Sally
* Little Penguin's Tale
* King Bidgood's in the Bathtub
* The Napping House
* Heckedy Peg
* Rude Giants
Here's a little peek at some of the activities included:
I also recently created and uploaded an Author Study notebook for tying together a monthly author study. There are several generic pages that can be used with any author study as well as to organize a notebook where you document the learning, activities, and crafts students complete during each author study. Here are some peeks at the notebook:
And now for a flash giveaway....I'll give away a copy of the Audrey Wood author study AND the Author Study notebook on Wednesday during my Ten Pin Linky. All you have to do to enter is leave a comment letting me know your favorite children's book author. Also leave your email address. :)
You can check the files out on TPT here:

I have so many, I don't know how to narrow it down. But my favorite would be Tommie de Paola; partially because he grew up in the town next to my hometown and his grandparent's lived in my hometown.
