I {heart} Dreamlike Magic!

So, what do y'all think of my custom blog design by Dreamlike Magic Designs?  I absolutely love it!  Alicia is so super talented.  I invite y'all to check her out!

Well, it may be 70 degrees here today, but we're SNOW HAPPY IT'S WINTER!  We've been completing activities from my new winter unit in TPT.  We've done lots of great experiments and recorded them in our Arctic Investigation Journals.  

We also made a melting snowman and completed a creative writing prompt:

 

We read Gail Gibbon's informational book It's Snowing, and we made a Story of Snow booklet.  I love how my future scientist, Dr. Montana, illustrated her book...complete with magnified illustrations!

 We made step books to illustate the various types of snow storms.

And, today, we read The Emperor's Egg and the kids partnered up and completed Venn Diagrams comparing/contrasting mother and father Emperor penguins.
