Back to School Bonanza Giveaway!

Howdy y’all!!  After tons of problems posting pictures and such on my blog, I finally decided to download Firefox.  So far, so good.  I hope this solves all of the problems Internet Explorer has been giving me!!  Maybe now I can get back to actually posting and blogging!  I have been printing, laminating, and cutting out like crazy.  I’ve also TOTALLY rearranged my room from last year because I’m getting an Activboard next week (YIPEE!!) and it had to go on the back wall.  I will be in my classroom every day next week working my fingers to the bone, and I plan to take tons of pictures to share.  In the meantime, I want to give away Six of my favorite TPT productssix items that will help you get into the swing of things for a new school year!
Here’s what you can win (Click on each to preview it in my TPT store!):

I’m trying out Rafflecopter for the first time.  Get started with your entries!!  The giveaway will end on Friday July 20th.

  6. I haven't had any problems using Firefox for blogging, but where I have ran into problems is trying to upload products to TPT. It has only ever worked one time and then the rest of the times it has just kept working and working at trying to post, but then never did. I always have to revert back to Internet Explorer for this. Just thought I would give you a heads up. I hope it works for you though.

  7. Back to school idea: I found packs of those light up bracelets (15 for $1) in the Target Dollar Spot. I'm going to give one to each student on Meet Your Teacher Night with a little tag that says, "We're going to have a BRIGHT kindergarten year!"

  9. I love to do a Scavenger Hunt at the beginning of the year! I do a mini one just in the classroom that students complete with their parents during the Meet the Teacher night and then another one where we tour the whole school and meet all the important people during the first days of school. Not sure if I'm going with Chester, Pete or a monster idea for it this year though!

  55. My favorite back to school activity is making and All About Me book and teaching the children a special song that my aunt and grandmother taught me at their age. It has hand motions and we sing it before we go home because it talks about the pigeon's day and how they are now going to rest. It's a very quiet way to end the day and the children won't let me forget to sing the song!

  67. I love to have each student design a hat that tells all about them. They attach photos or small items to the hat. Each child gets in front of the class and tells all about their hats and what each item represents and why. The children get to wear the hats for the rest of the day. They love this!

  68. I am a follower of your blog and store. My favorite item is your standardized testing pack- I'm always looking for great ideas to make the students more confident by providing great strategies. I love spending time at the start of the year helping to identify the way we will work as a class. One of my favorite books is "Just one of those days" After reading the book, we discuss how we want our classrooms to respond to use when we are having "one of those days." this way every child knows that it is ok to have a bad day and we as their class know how they would like us to help them.
