Ready or not....here I come!! I am going to give blogging a try. I have been so inspired by all of the fabulous teacher blogs I've discovered this summer. Everyone in blogger land is so kind and generous. I hope I can share a few things which will be an inspiration to other teachers.
A little about me...my name is Ashley. I am about to enter my sixth year as a teacher (after a six year sabbatical as my father's secretary). I have taught 2nd grade for three years, 1st grade for one year, and 5th grade for one year. I am sooooooooo excited that I will be moving back to second grade this year. I currently teach in a private Christian school but have taught in public school as well. Second grade is definitely my favorite grade, and I have been working my fingers to the bone all summer coming up with new ideas. I hope you can journey with me through second grade by following my blog.
